Welcome to my Home Page !!

2023-10-10 - In lieu of a better place to put this, I am building a history and outline of my open source projects on this phorton.com website.

Github has no way for a user to present their own overview of their repositories.
Github annoyingly presents repositories in an arbitrary "populatrity" order.
Only the repository owner can, through Settings, even see see their Github repositories in an alphabetical order.
I would like to be able to also see them in chronological order of creation, last commit, descending, etc.

Hackaday is difficult to use and maintain and does not suit my needs.
You have to use their web based editors to do anything.
Their Project structure is completely arbitrary and constraining.
You can make chronological "Log" posts, or have a flat list of "Projects", that's it.
Once you create a Project it is forever indexed in that order in their presentation of all you projects.

Thingyverse is increasingly weak as a place to store serious design information.
YouTube is only good for storing videos

I want to be able to see a list of all my projects (repositories) and their releationships. They can be grouped chronologically, to the degree that I have a tendency to work in one particular area, towards one particular goal, usually, for some period of time, often creating multiple repositories that relate to that overall goal during that phase.

Then, over longer time spans, there is a tendency to re-use code, to create various dependencies between projects, which makes presentation even more complicated.

This should probably be database driven. LOL, yet another project to create an app to keep track of my projects!
